Lake Tahoe is the summertime go-to and there’s nothing better than enjoying a delicious meal with the lake’s perfect background.

As you roam around Tahoe’s 72 miles of shoreline wondering what to do next, be sure to check out these fabulous eateries. What could be better than an umbrella-shaded table on a restaurant deck where the cool breeze is highlighted by even cooler margaritas? Nothing. Nothing is better.

Hint: Call ahead for a reservation on the deck and remember to be patient. At the end of the day, everyone else wants to sit on a deck and watch the sunset too.

The Barracuda Championship is back again for another exciting display from skilled golfers.

The 19th annual Barracuda Championship is underway this week, with tournament play starting Thursday, August 3. The pro-ams took place earlier in the week and the results can be viewed on their website. The tournament, fondly dubbed the “Cuda Champ”, is one on only 46 full-field stops during the PGA TOUR Season and a part of the FedEx Cup series, a point competition for the players. Best of all, it takes places in our very own Montreux community! Some of the golfers are playing the Jack Nicklaus Signature course for the first time and some are returning. Either way, all of the participants leave with a love of the challenging course – one of the Golden

What is all the hype about Reno? We’re here to tell you.

Northern Nevada has long-been known for being home to the largest alpine lake in North America, Lake Tahoe. But that isn’t all that the area has to offer. Reno lives up to its classic adage of being “The Biggest Little City”. From the views of the snow-capped Sierra Mountains to the tax-friendly business structure, it was easy to come up with 10 reasons we love living here.

  1. There’s always something to do

The Reno-Tahoe region is blessed with 300 days of sunshine annually. Combine that with four distinct seasons and it is hard to stay indoors on just about any given day of the year. With the abundance of mountains, lakes, rivers, sun and snow, the range and choices of outdoor
