Where to See the Fireworks in Reno This Fourth

What’s more fun than feeling patriotic, wearing red, white and blue and watching fireworks on the Fourth of July? We have all the best spots in Reno, Sparks and Lake Tahoe!
RENO
Greater Nevada Field
On July 4, after the Reno Aces game (game starts 6:35 p.m.)
Tickets to the game are $12 to $28 (but of course the fireworks are visible from outside the stadium)
Wingfield Park, downtown Reno
On July 4, Reno Philharmonic starts playing at 7:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

SPARKS
Victorian Square, Sparks
On July 4, Vendor booths and live entertainment run 4-10 p.m., with fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

TAHOE - KINGS BEACH
Kings Beach / North Tahoe Event Center
Heads up! This one is on July 3. Food vendors, live entertainment start at 7 p.m.. Fireworks are at 9:30 p.m.
TAHOE - INCLINE VILLAGE
Events in various spots around Incline; fireworks are set off from Incline Beach
Day-long events, fireworks at 10 p.m.
TAHOE - SOUTH SHORE FIREWORKS
South Shore Tahoe; fireworks visible all around the south shore of the lake
On July 4, fireworks start at 9:45 p.m.
TAHOE - SOUTH SHORE PARADE
Ski Run Boulevard to Bijou Community Park, South Lake Tahoe
On July 4, 10 to 11 a.m.
Street closure: Highway 50 will be reduced to two lanes in the parade area.
TAHOE CITY
Commons Beach in downtown Tahoe City
On July 4, day-long party culminates in fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
CARSON CITY
Celebration and carnival at Mills Park, followed by fireworks
On July 4, carnival rides, live music, vendors from 1 to 10 p.m.; fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
VIRGINIA CITY
Downtown Virginia City
Celebration starts at 10 a.m., parade at noon, fireworks around 9:15 p.m.
TRUCKEE PARADE
Downtown Truckee, from Truckee High School, along Donner Pass Road to corner of Bridge and Church streets
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is free shuttle service from many Truckee neighborhoods, get details here
TRUCKEE/DONNER LAKE FIREWORKS
Donner Lake
On July 4, fireworks at 9:30 p.m. The West End Beach itself will be open to Truckee residents only, though fireworks will presumably be visible around the lake.
