October is all about spooky things and saying hello to fall! The crisp air marks the changing season, with cooler nights to compliment the pleasantly warm days. There are plenty of events to enjoy for all ages in Northern Nevada this October. Be sure to check out a few of our favorites below!

A lot goes on at the farm in the fall! Andellin’s Adventure Farm was voted in the top ten pumpkin patches in the nation. Be sure to enjoy the animal exhibits, live music, fresh produce, barnyard activities, rides, and games. Explore the 5-acre corn maze, day or night. Board one of three zombie buses to fight a zombie invasion on the farm with paintballs. Or brave the 1/2 mile of haunted corn path and beware of creepers!
Representing over 50 local, family farms, the Apple Hill Growers are dedicated to supporting agriculture in the community. Founded in 1964 with just 16 apple ranches, it has now grown to include unique fruit & vegetable farms, bakeshops, wineries, a Bed & Breakfast Inn, flower gardens, and Christmas tree farms. The winding roads and scenic beauty have been a popular destination for over 50 years. Come enjoy the fruits of Apple Hill Growers any time of year!

THE ROW’s Great Italian Festival transforms downtown Reno into Little Italy with a grape stomp, an Italian farmers market, food booths and incredible free, live entertainment all weekend long.

This celebration of family and fall is free to attend and features affordable and wholesome events for all ages. The event features the PumpkinPalooza Midway, the Pumpkin Design Studio, the Purple Pumpkin Pursuit, vendors and food trucks, live entertainment, and so much more! Experience the magic of Halloween in Victorian Square.
Kick off your Halloween weekend festivities with everyone’s favorite ghost movie, Ghostbusters! Watch the classic film like never before with the score performed live by the Reno Phil Orchestra. With music by Elmer Bernstein and starring Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Sigourney Weaver. Accompanied by a full live orchestra conducted by Peter M. Bernstein, son of Academy Award-winning composer and an orchestrator for the film.
