New Flights to Northern California Added to Reno-Tahoe International Airport

Now residents of Reno-Tahoe can catch a quick, nonstop flight to the Eureka/Arcata community in Northern California. The inaugural flight service is offered by aha!, an airline powered by veteran ExpressJet Airlines, and began on November 9^th.

Flights will operate each Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday departing the California Redwood Coast – Humboldt County Airport at 11:25 a.m. PT and arrive at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport by 12:35 p.m. PT. Flights from Reno to Eureka will depart at 9:30 a.m. PT and arrive at 10:40 a.m. PT.

"We are pleased to begin service from Reno to Eureka, giving travelers in both markets the ability to put together, for example, a short spontaneous two- or three-night trip using lower week-day hotel rates" said ExpressJet's CEO Subodh Karnik.

These quick 1 hour and 10-minute flights are incredibly convenient and bring a route to a part of California that travelers would have previously had to drive or taken multiple flights to arrive at their destination. The Reno-Tahoe International Airport has a theme of convenience, located just 5 minutes from downtown Reno and 40 minutes from Lake Tahoe – including some of the finest ski resorts and outdoor recreation in the world.

Passengers can enjoy service from 11 different airlines, including aha!, Alaska, American, Delta, Frontier, jetBlue, JSX, Southwest, United, and volaris. Reno-Tahoe also offers more than 73 average daily departures serving 27+ nonstop destinations:
