Fly in Style at the Reno-Tahoe Airport

Reno Tahoe residents can enjoy new nonstop flights to two popular destinations: Austin and Houston, Texas.

Adding these flights last December, the Reno-Tahoe Regional Air Service Corporation (RASC) has worked to build and maintain strong air service for international and domestic travel options. American Airlines will allow travelers to explore Austin’s legendary music scene, artistic culture, and outdoor experiences. United Airlines will take passengers to Houston in just three and a half hours for some southern sun, 19th century architecture, and an upscale culinary scene. Flights will run daily throughout the winter.

“These flights are an entry to two key markets for our Reno-Tahoe travelers,” says Christopher Abraham, Senior VP, Marketing of Grand Sierra Resort and Chairman of RASC. “These routes not only provide exploration opportunities to Austin and Houston, but to an extended list of both domestic and international destinations beyond these airports.”

In addition to these new flights, the Reno-Tahoe Airport offers flights on JSX (formerly JetSuiteX), a small carrier that creates a simpler and more peaceful in-air experience. JSX has won a loyal base of frequent fliers among the business class and luxury consumer who like to avoid TSA and enjoy a hassle-free experience. The airline offers point-to-point flights in California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Florida, and New York State.

When flying with JSX, arrive just 20 - 30 minutes prior to your flight, go through the smooth check-in process, wait in a quiet and clean lounge, and directly board the plane. All plane models carry only 30 passengers and arrival is almost as easy as departure.

Enjoy a luxury experience, even at the airport right here in Reno Tahoe.
