Yes, there are still discoveries to be made. There are new songs to hear, in places you’ve never heard them, creating a charged energy that will never be heard the same way again. That’s the spirit of the annual OffBeat Music Festival, a “music festival crawl of sorts.” Hear over 80 performances of the best homegrown musicians, regional bands and nationally-recognized artists! Discover new music at unique and intimate locations around the core of Midtown Reno.

The Row’s Great Italian Festival

Every October, The Biggest Little City celebrates Italian culture and tradition during THE ROW’s Great Italian Festival. Downtown Reno transforms into Little Italy with activities including a grape stomp, wine walk, an Italian farmers market, food booths and incredible free, live entertainment all weekend long. Let’s not forget the real reason everyone comes – the food! At the Great Italian Festival, you will find everything from traditional spaghetti and meatballs, to Italian sausage and fried calamari. Don’t forget about the local favorite – mushroom ravioli with a decadent porcini cream sauce. Once you have your fill of savory, move on to the seemingly endless sweet treats, including homemade gelato, crepes and cannoli.

Today, KC and the Sunshine Band play over 100 live shows annually, circling the country and playing dates regularly throughout Europe, Australia and South America. This year KC will celebrate 50 years of entertaining us, writing songs, and performing around the world and has no intention of stopping.

Reno Phil Presents Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto

November 23 - 24

The Reno Phil returns to the Pioneer Center for Performing Arts with the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto and other works, November 23-24, 2024. If fate comes knocking - will you answer? A balance of dramatic intensity and heartfelt melodic expression, Verdi’s Overture from his opera La Forza del Destino is one of the most iconic and influential overtures of all time. Pianist Sara Davis Buechner, “a formidable soloist” (San Francisco Chronicle), returns to Reno to perform Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2, a romantic, lush, and majestic work full of memorable melodies. In 1934, William Dawson imagined a symphony that would fuse African rhythms and American laments into the symphonic form. What Dvořák’s “New World” Symphony promised, Dawson delivered. His defiant, triumphant “Negro Folk Symphony” is the greatest symphony you’ve never heard.
