Kicking off the month is Artown, a month-long celebration that transforms Reno into a hub of artistic expression. With a diverse lineup of events including children’s workshops, concert series, movies in the park, and historic tours, Artown showcases the best of the local and international art scene. Don’t miss the headliner shows featuring renowned artists and performers. On July 2, join the fun at the Shriners Parade, where Shriners International brings their unique blend of fun, fellowship, and tradition to Downtown Reno.

Sports enthusiasts can look forward to the American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament from July 10-14, featuring top celebrities from sports and entertainment. The Sierra Nevada Lavender and Honey Festival on July 14 offers a delightful day of lavender, honey, arts and crafts, and family-friendly activities. From July 18-21, experience the region’s only PGA TOUR event at the 2024 Barracuda Championship in Truckee, California. To cap off the month, the Biggest Little Wing Fest on July 26-27 invites you to indulge in over 20,000 pounds of delicious wings while enjoying live entertainment and the chance to witness top chefs compete for cash prizes.

Artown 

July 1 - 31

During the entire month of July, Reno is Artown! Exciting and engaging Artown events will be happening throughout the month at locations around Reno, including children’s art workshops, concert series, movies in the park, historic and cultural tours and art exhibits. Headliner shows will be announced soon. Past headlining concerts performances have included The Sextones, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., Keb’Mo’, Tim Snider & Wolfgang Timber, Sheléa, Whitney Myer and more!

 

Shriners Parade

July 2

Little City! Shriners International is a fraternity based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and truth. Join us in celebrating their stop in Reno Tahoe during the Shriners Parade through Downtown Reno.

 

American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament 

July 10 - 14

Now entering its 35th year, the American Century Championship is a made-for-TV event owned and broadcast by NBC Sports. The premier celebrity golf tournament, which also raises funds for local and national charities, distributes a purse of $600,000. The tournament is a 54-hole modified Stableford format that features some of sport’s and entertainment’s greatest celebrities.

 

Sierra Nevada Lavender and Honey Festival 

July 14

The “scent-sational” Sierra Nevada Lavender and Honey Festival features all things lavender and honey along with arts and crafts, food, demonstrations, music, entertainment and more. It’s a festival for all ages, so invite your friends and family to enjoy a beautiful day.

 

2024 Barracuda Championship 

July 18 - 21

Experience the excitement of the region’s only PGA TOUR event, the Barracuda Championship, at Tahoe Mountain Club’s Old Greenwood in Truckee, California. Be there to catch all the action and witness the rise of a new champion. Past competitors have included popular golfers such as Akshay Bhatia (2023 winner)  Collin Morikawa (2019 winner), Jason Day, Adam Scott, Pat Perez, Geoff Ogilvy (2014 winner), Gary Woodland (2013 winner), John Daly, Padraig Harrington, Davis Love III, Nick Watney, Jon Rahm and J.J. Henry (2012 and 2015 winner).

 

Biggest Little Wing Fest

July 26 - 27

For the 10th year, THE ROW brings the Biggest Little City Wing Fest back to the heart of Reno. Bibs are optional where we serve over 20,000 pounds of cluck-a-licious wings. Award-winning cooks from all over win cash prizes for being the best of the best.
