Changing seasons bring new events to Reno-Tahoe

Spring is in the air in Northern Nevada! The temperatures have been rising, the trees are heavy with blossoms, and winter is well behind us. With historic snowfall throughout the Lake Tahoe region, the change in seasons has been a welcome shift. Spring is a time of fresh beginnings and waking up after a long winter, and the events in Reno-Tahoe reflect that! Check out a few of the events we are looking forward to in May.

 

Cabaret Le Cirque

Cabaret Le Cirque is a mischievous twist of burlesque and vaudeville, combining stunning show dancers with jaw-dropping circus acrobatics. Shows available Tuesday through Sunday.

 

Feed the Camel

McKinley Arts & Culture Center

Reno’s Hump Day food truck event! Local food trucks convene under the Keystone Bridge, serving unique specialties, along with local beer. Held at the McKinley Arts and Culture Center in the Riverwalk District, next to the beautiful Truckee River. Held every Wednesday evening  from 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.!

 

The Reno Aces

Greater Nevada Field

The Reno Aces are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Join the fun with the whole family at Greater Nevada Field all season long!

Top chili cooks gather in Virginia City for the 40th annual Chili on the Comstock. Combined with a Craft Beer Tour featuring pours from local saloons and award-winning craft breweries, it’s the most delicious and satisfying event of the year.
