This summer marks a significant milestone for The Club at ArrowCreek in Reno, NV, as it celebrates its 25th anniversary. Since its inception, the Club has grown to become a cornerstone of the community, offering exceptional amenities and fostering a sense of belonging among its members.

A Journey Through Time

The journey of The Club at ArrowCreek began in 1996 when Southwest Pointe Partners LLC and Western Management LLC acquired 3,200 acres in the foothills of Southwest Reno. The vision was to create a premier gated golf course community featuring two 18-hole golf courses, a resident's center, a commercial center, and 1,090 lots with common grounds. Arnold Palmer, the legendary golfer, marked the groundbreaking event by shooting an arrow into the sky, symbolizing the beginning of this ambitious project.

From 1996 to 1998, the development saw the creation of the Legend Course designed by Arnold Palmer and the Challenge Course by John Harbottle and Fuzzy Zoeller. In 1998, the ArrowCreek Country Club began selling memberships and hosted a celebrity golf round featuring Tom Watson, Lee Trevino, Fuzzy Zoeller, and John Daly. The Clubhouse and both golf courses officially opened to members and the public in 1999.

In 2002, the ArrowCreek Country Club became a private entity. By 2005, control of the Home Owners Association, the resident's center, and common grounds were handed over to ArrowCreek residents. The journey took a new turn in 2008 when Golden Gate Golf purchased the Club, but by 2014, they filed for bankruptcy. This led to the Friends of ArrowCreek (FOA) acquiring the assets and renaming it The Club at ArrowCreek. This group of 56 members and investors revitalized the Club, organizing social events and fostering a genuine sense of community.

In 2018, Raymond and Jeanne Conrad of Lucky Star Golf LLC purchased the Club and initiated a $65+ million renovation and expansion. By 2021, the Club at ArrowCreek had transformed into a state-of-the-art facility with four membership categories and a plethora of elevated amenities, including a renovated clubhouse, new dining outlets, an expanded fitness center, and an indoor pickleball facility.

Looking Ahead

Today, the ArrowCreek neighborhood boasts over 1,000 homes, and the Club proudly supports over 700 memberships, serving more than 2,000 members. The Club's continuous growth and commitment to excellence ensure it remains a premier destination for golf and social events in the Reno-Tahoe area.

As ArrowCreek celebrates this remarkable anniversary, it looks forward to creating more memories and continuing to be a cherished part of the community. Here's to 25 years of success and many more to come!
