Summary of 2011 Home Sales in Montreux

Montreux Real Estate moved in a very positive direction this year. We saw a significant improvement over last year in overall sales volume and average sales price.

In 2011, there were 27 closed home sales compared to 21 home sales in 2010. In addition, there are 3 homes in escrow. This is a 30% increase in sales volume over last year! Average sales price in 2011 was $1,106,157 compared to 2010 was $905,924 — a 22% increase!

Not too shabby for what some say is a declining market. Montreux’s 2011 results clearly show the opposite. With overall sales volume up, average sales price up, and inventory greatly reduced, Montreux is positioned to making 2012 an even better year.

The stability and resilience of Montreux real estate is a testament to all who make it the breathtakingly beautiful community that it is. Montreux is and will continue to remain a cut above the rest.
